Tamed Heart

The taming of a heart
With it’s wild and carefree spirit
Wanting only to have fun
Under the sun

Carefree and Loving
To everyone that loved her
Protective and Secure
With all that surrounded her

No questions asked
When it came to her wants
She was a beauty
And could lure you into her arms

Tenderness and Gentleness
Were her downfalls at times
Built up a wall
Of mistrust all the time

Then one day
In a land faraway
Far across the sea
She started to believe

Finding a gentle heart
To ease her mistrust
She started to believe
She started to trust

Love deep inside her
showed thru and thru
Her wild and carefree heart
Started to soften too

She takes each day
One day at a time
Hoping one day
Her gentle heart will come
To be lured into he’s arms
And capture her with he’s charms
He’s the only one
That can tame her wild wild heart
