There are times that I just need to get away
To let my mind wonder and stray
Deep in my thoughts, my thoughts of you
Feeling so lonely, feeling so blue

I take a stroll on a beautiful moonlit night
With the moon upon the waters
With it’s silvery rays, glowing so bright
The twinkling of stars, on a clear summer night
It’s a beautiful picture, that stays in my mind
As I think of you, in hopes to find
The peace and tranquility that only you can bring
To my heart, my soul, my everything

I finally reach my favorite place
To sit upon the dock, to feel the moon’s embrace
To feel the soothing of the cool ocean blue
My mind once more starts to drift and think of you

Faraway places and faraway dreams
Wishing and Hoping for so long it seems
For you to return and come back for me
My eyes fills with myst, for everyone to see
The loneliness, and sadness when you are away

To dream of happiness, in everyway
Yes, it’s a dream only two of us can share
A dream for both of us, who really care
That one day it can happen, our happiness begins
Walking along together on a moonlit night
We are together, My life is finally bright....
