When the crying is done

And there's no more tears that flow

You say to yourself

What do I do, where do I go

Your heartache is heavy

The pain is intense

Like a sliver of ice

That cuts you like a knife

And freezes your tears

Sometimes you think

It's going to last for years

What do I do with this heart of mine

It once was so happy

So, beautiful, like the sunshine

So, bright and sparkling

Like the moon and the stars

So, soft and caring, so much in love

Like the soft pillowy clouds

That dances in the heavens above

Where has it gone

A heart which was once true

True to the one, who said

I Love You

The love has gone

From the heart that was so gay

It's closed up it's doors

To heal the hurt away

One day it will open it's doors

Not hurting in anymore

To find a special someone

To love once more

To shine and glow

Like it did once before

To be happy and glad

Not blue and not sad

Your heart with flow and melt

The sliver of ice will be no more

Your heart has found someone

That you truly adore

To love and to care

To laugh and to share

Your heart is complete

You are able to stand on your

own two feet

The sun is shining thru

Thru this heart of mine

I've found my special someone

To have and to hold
