My Golden Sun

The glorious rays of the setting sun
With it's golden hues capturing
the essence of the day
To look upon it's radiance
with the one you love
and share in it's glory
the last rays of the setting sun

The romance and intimacy
That we have for each other
No words need to be spoken
For we know what's in each other's hearts
Each other's minds

The feeling of security
When we hold each other tight
The warmth and caring
Of love that is so right

So happy are we
To be in each other's company
Just staring out
Towards the horizon
Watching the ending
Of a wonderful day
Spent with each other

The night is finally upon us
So quiet and still
Just listening to the lapping
of the water
As the tide moves in and out
So peaceful and calm

Holding on to each other
Embracing, Cuddling
Wanting no other
Just the two of us
In our own world
Promising to never let go

No one can take the place
Of what we mean to each other
Of what we feel with each other
Of what we want, from each other
It is our fate, our destiny
To belong with each other
