Dearest Lady Berns -

I wanted to wish you a very Happy Birthday!  You've been very supportive and loving and I wanted a way in which I could express my gratitude for having met such a wonderful person like yourself.  Unfortunately, I have not the mindset to write a poem, but my hope is that I can at least express my feelings to you.

You've been like a rock; a presence there always concerned about me.  It means a lot to know I have a friend like you, and one that thinks me as a daughter, as well. 

I hope you have a grand birthday surrounded by all those who love you.  May all your dreams and hopes come true!  May you always be able to feel loved and appreciated!  I know I love and appreciate you.
